Michael creates a fascinating depth in his art through the use of putty, plaster, wax and overlays of colors.

These create structures and surfaces reminiscent of the natural formations of nature. This effect is particularly impressive in the play of light and shadow, similar to textiles.

The artist is inspired by his dreams and records them in graphic or written form immediately after waking up.

These intimate and personal impressions are pictorially represented and at the same time allow an individual interpretation of the viewer. The canvas is filled with the same emotions, attitudes and locations of the dream.
